We love the staff, the rooms and the quiet hidden hide-away. We stop here every year to rest, relax and romance ourselves before heading on to Palm Springs. I always need a break from the real world and this is it...our Happy Place!

We stayed at casa malibu in feb 2007 for 10 days, it is a great place right in the the beach, it was quite and the rooms were nice and very clean it also had a fireplace for the chilly nughts in feb.I thought the staff was very freindly. I would highly recommmend this place

We were in Pasadena for a convention, and wanted beach time. We stayed here, before and after the convention, based on the ZAGAT Guide's comment that this was the best kept secret in the world; they were RIGHT!

The only negative is if you need to be "downtown", in Pasadena, Long Beach or points south - it's a LONG drive.

This listing is completely inaccurate. The rates are not $99 a night anymore and the ammenities are all wrong as well. Just call the hotel or look at trip advisor.

We will never stay at this hotel. The reservation clerk was extremely rude. We can find better ways to spend our money.

The in is in a great location of Malibu and its literally right on the beach. If you have a waterfront room, your private deck sits over the sand and the water is literally 20 ft away. Beautiful courtyard with all sorts of greenery. The inn is between Pepperdine and Dukes bar, right near the Pier and the shopping centers. Joan, one of the owners was very friendly as was the rest of the staff.

I liked the small place, felt like i was pretty much alone and in paradise. Brought my three daughters 19,22, and 25, and they liked it as well. Very private, no stress, beach view from room was terrific and great sleeping while the ocean knocked against the shoreline. I stayed with my girls two days and nights.
