I made a res on Thur for sat night, non smoking. we arrived around 6 on Sat and the man at the desk (not the mgr, who was not there) said they had lost my res. This was the second time i've stayed at west winds on the way to Seattle and it looks like the management has changed as the service is much better and more friendly than the first time i was there a couple years ago.

It's for people on a budget or just doing an overnighter so it's no Hyatt but for the price you pay it's quite clean and comfortable enough.

I recently had a friend from south of Seattle come up and stay at this hotel, the west winds in mt vernon. I paid for it in advance for 2 nights and had the receit. My friend called me the first night and they said they knew nothing of it. They figured it out but then the next night they said i hadnt paid for two nights which i did wheni booked it and they had no clue what was going on. Horrible service, do not stay there.
