Our Family was excited to stay in the picturesque town of New Glarus. The hotel brochure had us excited that we were staying at a quaint "theme" hotel.

The room was very basic. It was semi-clean, but the hotel seems like it has seen better days maintenance wise. The pool was small with brown dirt patches. The hot tub was as sudsy ...

We stayed there about one year ago and were a little disappointed in the room, but it was o.k. We were most upset with the customer service we received the next morning at breakfast. The waitress was rude and practically ignored us. We were seated on another room - not the main dining room - and there was absolutely no one else in that room and ...

The hotel is a very nice place to stay if you are visiting New Glarus! I stayed here last year and was impressed with the rooms, swimming pool, and restaurant. Another user wasn't happy with the service or the restaurant - I have to disagree. The restaurant has wondeful Swiss food with a unique charm that is hard to find!

This was an excellent experience. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent!
