This is an excellent hotel for the value. In a place where hotel costs are way out of reason. Overland Park is an overpriced, mall-centered, nothing town, with hotel prices that dont make sense. Except for the White Haven Motor Lodge-- A charming little hotel for around $50/night. A great little oasis.

This motel is owned and operated by the family that built it in 1956! They care and it shows. I can't imagine there's a better value in the US today... I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on my frequent visits to Kansas City.

I have to admit I was somewhat surprised when I opened the door to my room and saw the lovely decor!!! So untypical of any other place I have stayed in. I found that the White Haven Motor Lodge was quite a lovely place to stay. The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. I might however suggest a coffee maker and hair dryer in every room. Ill be back to the White Haven Motor Lodge, I am certain!!

Don't let the price scare you. The place is vintage 50's motor court, very clean and in a safe neighborhood. The decor is what eclectic is all about. Our family has been staying there for 3 generations. The people will treat you like family.

A little old 1950's style motor lodge revitalized. White Haven is cute and clean with a very friendly staff. A great value and comfortable place to stay.

We love White Haven and the White family who run it. Since we live in the KC area we don't get to stay there much, but all of our friends and relatives do whenever possible. It's so reasonably priced and such a lovely place.
