My husband and I live right here in North Charleston, which is about 15-20 minutes from Mt. Pleasant. In fact, my husband works for the Town of Mt. Pleasant. He wanted an overnight stay in a B&B for his b-day, so I booked the Old Village Post House.
Let me relay the good points: Great location - near downtown and beaches Great ...
The Old Village Post House Restaurant was an incredible experience. We were there our first time for Valentine's Day Dinner. Our wait person was exceptionally nice, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. The food was outstanding. The pate was one of the bests that I have ever tried. The setting was beautiful and romantic. It was everything that everyone has told me. We will definitely come back.
Sincerely,
Allyson Harter

Spent three nights at the B&B. Nice but not stunning and had a looonnngg flight of stairs to my room. Food was delicious though and worth putting up with the stairs.
