We stayed in early August and despite the renovations, our stay was terrific! The pool was great as it was right on the water and my husband even caught a fish! The new restaurant and tiki bar they say will be opening in September and we will be back.

The complex was under construction and almost deserted at night. There were several cars but no signs of people so very unsafe for a single woman traveling alone. I was scheduled for 2 nights but chose to check out early on the second day when I realized the lack of security and was told I would be charged for the second night anyway. In addition, the room was not clean.

It is under new ownership and gorgeous!! Beautifully decorated rooms, not like a sterile hotel room. Wonderful location on the water. Breathtaking sunsets! Will love to return!

Love the view and the people are nice. Most staff try to be accommodating. The furniture, paint, etc could stand to be updated. It is a nice place to sit and look at the water and just chill. Good location - close to Clearwater and Tarpon Springs. A little overpriced during season based on lack of upkeep.

If you were Chuck or Hank (Henri Chenaski) and by chance enjoyed the salt air, this place is for you. Nothing like sitting in your underwear, drinking, and gazing across the Gulf to Tampico. Plus those girls in the bikinis. Oh, yes.

The service was fine, what little we had. The reason that is, because we didn't keep the room. It looked like something they threw together with whatever they could find out of the trash. It was the worst place I (personally) have ever booked for a vacation. I can't understand why anyone would ever stay there.
