Customer Service at It's WorstGoing this weekend with much regret. From what I've been exposed to, customer service leads a bit to be desired. It took six phone calls to even get our reservation straight. Each call ended with an apology and a claim that the problem was fixed. Ok, but you can do betterI should start by saying that this is a review of Merrill Magee's restaurant, not its hotel rooms. I should also mention that I live in the area and have eaten in many of the restaurants in the Lake George / Warrensburg area. Most of the local restaurants serve low-budget family fare. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked our stayI should have known better than to stay at this place when every other establishment was booked for the Columbus Day Weekend. After paying for the room up front, we were handed a set of keys on a ring that looked like it belonged to an old western jail house and sent along our merry way. Less than ExpectedAs a member of a recent wedding party at the Merrill Magee House, I have to say that the experience was not all that I expected. Needs some TLCWe stayed at the Merrill Magee for my aunt's wedding weekend. While we had a great time and it was a fun weekend, this bed and breakfast needs some TLC.

Big disappointmentLooking at the website for the Merrill Magee House one would be very excited about their first experience at a B&B. My experience was big disappointment.

Many problems, no solutionsThere is plenty of false advertising going on here.
Air conditioned - we arrived to 100 degree rooms. The tiny condenser would never cool a mansion of this size. No help, as owners don't live on site. No discount given, bride's mother had to be rushed to hospital, possible dehydration

WON'T GO BACK AGAIN.Apprentley being the only guests in the Inn makes a difference. The continental breakfast we had on our first morning consisted of store bought pastries which were never replaced with fresh patries. The bed was cleaned the first 2 day, the third day; the covers were just thrown on the bed and towels were left on a chair. A WONDERFUL TIME WAS HAD BY ALLA GROUP OF 11 OF US STAYED FOR THE MARCH MADDNESS WEEKEND. THERE WAS ANOTHER GROUP OF EIGHT AND WE ALL BLENDED AND SHARED A GREAT WEEKEND.
