This place is right on the water, with access to kyaks, canoes and rowboats for free. The breakfast was great, the location was amazing, and the people are nice. In addition to the boats, there is swimming, shuffleboard, basketball, badmitton, and lying around on the lounge chairs. Being it is family run, it is very private too. Can't wait to return!

We go back to Chelka Lodge every year and it's now our "home away from home." We love the fishing most of all, bass and a variety of fresh fish, right off the boat deck! I loved this place.The owners are great and even though it rained almost the entire Americade week this year we still had a great time. You can take a kayak out on the lake at anytime you like and the rooms are clean and well kept. The owners bake their own muffins each morning and coffee, tea and juice is also provided at no additional charge. The owner even has included a bike wash rack to clean your motorcycle each day. It was fantastic!!

The family warmth was the perfect place to visit with a little boy. My son still talks about the ball"shoot" and the ducks on the lake. We would have been back but we had a baby last year, and this year I broke my foot!!!!!!
