Front desk was rude upon check in. rooms were in worn-out condition to say the least. Apparently, owners of this disgusting inn doesn't care for CLEAN & MAINTAINED rooms. Bathroom I was given had hair on toilet, stains on carpet, urine-stained chair. ...
Very nice, not TOO fancy. The employees are very helpful. Location is perfect for our needs. Recently renovated. Well lit parking lot. Food at the diner next door is remarkably good. Shopping strip mall almost next door (for the items forgotten while packing). If for some reason you no not like the breakfast offered... there is a Dunkin Donuts a ...
I arrived late in the evening at this motel- and only stayed here because it was the only place I could find off of the interstate. The funkiness of this place could be overlooked- if people had been more friendly I would have almost thought it was cute. But, after we checked in, it just got worse.
My family recently came in from out of town for a funeral, and had previously stayed at the Fairfield Inn about 4 years ago. Comments were that it wasn't as great this time. The rooms were OK, but not great... the rooms were showing their age, their wear... furnishings looked kinda sad. It's time for a makeover, for sure. The services ...
This hotel desperately needs to be re-habbed. The pillows are just foam with only one case. The walls are thin. No cable. No wireless. No amenities. People cook in the kitchen all day (do they live there) and the hallways smell of greasy food. The lobby is a joke. If there was another hotel in Fairfield, we'd stay there in a nano-second. This hotel is about the only game in town, hence there is no incentive to improve it.
However, they need to invest in pillows. We stay at this hotel yearly and it is a great place---all except for the pillows. There is no substance to them--they are like cotton candy.
When my b/f and I try to get away and can't, we usually come here. We get a jacuzzi suite and the price is perfect. The room is just what you would expect for a room - nothing fancy, but nothing else needed. Its quiet and you feel remote and cozy.
The service was great. Great staff and well trained.the rooms were clean neat and always made up on time. The lounge area was great for meeting people and Mr Macy the owner was very friendly as well as all his staff. It was a delight to stay there and as i have returned on a few occasions this tells you i think very highly of this little homely Inn.
We are from Texas and come to CT once a year to visit inlaws. We always stay at the Fairfield Inn in Fairfield. The hotel is very nice and quiet and the area surrounding the hotel is wonderful. Service is great too! Can't wait for my yearly trip to Connecticut and visit to the Fairfield Inn.
