The room was permeated by an unpleasant and unidentifiable smell. I am still trying to get the smell out of my clothes, luggage, jackets, and hair dryer! There was some sticky substance all over the shower walls.

Internet access was inconsistent. I never knew if it would be up or down.

The Blue Spruce is an older motel and I keep this in mind when staying there. Some rooms are better than others. I like the wireless internet. I enjoy the campfires out back. The breakfast is free so again I can't put together what the problem is. Cereals, orange juice, bagels, fruit, and other things are just laid out at 7:30 in the morning. I ain't got no problem with it.

Smelly, dirty, not one good word about it at all. Don't go. Everything was just awful. Don't plan on staying here there are many others that are nicer, a little more but worth the trip into town.

I was very unhappy with this stay. Our room was the worse. We lost electricity 2 times. There are no waffles. Which many other people commented on. The staff seemed to be very unprofessional. I had to wait to speak to the "front desk woman" while she finished a personal call. They lost my reservations. The room did not have a tub ...

This is a nice place, comfortable and the staff was nice, friendly, and very helpful. The rooms could use some updating, but overall is nice and clean, I have enjoyed my stay and will most likly come back again, another room there was updated with new paint, curtains, blinds ect. they are trying to update.

There wasn't anything we liked about the place. The price, the showers are terrible, curtains off the dowels, the smell of the sheep farm next to it, too many things too mention--a waste of my time. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The place is awful. I can't believe it is a AAA recommendation. We were directed around back over a pot holed driveway to the back of what was was part of a home. I have enjoyed staying here at the Blue Spruce Motel once again. I have been here more than once. Over the last 4 years this place has gotten better and better. A few rooms have been changed every time i come here.
