childhood memories

I used to go to the Smuggler's Inn with my parents when we lived in Madang in the early 80ies. The Smuggler's Inn brings back memories of full moons touching the ocean's surface, and steaming dishes of kaukau and tulip. Oh I'd love to go back there one day.

A once good hotel

One stay was enough! A hotel that has seen its use by date, A pity because it has a lovely location overlooking the sea and the Coastwatchers memorial.
Poor food, dirty rooms, run down.
