The hotel is excellent, with friendly staff, and clean new surroundings. Being evacuated there from a troublespot areain Dec 08, it felt like we were in a different country. Without doubt, the best experience I have had was going to the bar and seeing the beautiful girl singer Commy. If anyone out there can offer her a recording and video contract it will be a winner. You have a homely feeling within the Hotel, and the Staff are very helpful and well trained,It was a delight to eat in the dinning area, and greeted with friendly smile from Harriet and her team.

As staff of a large international organization I was bound to use one of three major hotels in Lagos, of which I chose the Federal Palace Hotel. The hotel is located very conveniently for the business I had to do, close to the Nigerian Insitute for Oceonagraphy and Marine Research (NIOMR). Staff are friendly and courtuous.

I like the sea view but the price is steep. The service was good the staff is friendly especially at the front desk. I dislike that the rooms are somewhat outdated needs rejuvenation. Another dislike is the Bar rat that frequents the lounge area day and night.So people when you sit in the lounge raise your feet!!!! All in all not a bad hotel. I will be going back.

Although in need of modernisation, I found the facilities good, particularly the swimming pool and the staff most friendly and very eager to help. Both the room and laundry services were good.

Attended a wedding in the gardens here. Absolutely stunning! A beautiful location by the water and excellent service. The hotel itself is undergoing renovation and I trust that they are going to be really impressive. Whilst I attended a wedding there I did not sleep there so I cannot comment about the hotel itself. It is a lovely place for an outdoor reception though.
