The hotel staff were fine in the first few dayz. but afta that we had problemz with the a.c and they did not co-operate with us properly. we was not satisfied by the service this hotel provided for us. This hotel is highly not reccommended. The first room we had were not clean and not upto our standard so we had to move rooms and we did not get a room afta 2dayz this was a piss take

Stayed for four weeks spread over April to July. Always had a sea view room with fantastic views. Great location. Very convenient for city centre, Green Square and the markets. As many have noted, the Al-Kabir has definitely seen better days. On the plus side, it's historic and wonderfully located. The cleaning staff were quite charming and concerned that we enjoy our stay.
