Upon several recommendations online we booked this hotel for our spring holiday. I could almost tell it was a disaster when we arrived in the lobby, not much going on there. Having been a guest at the Monte Rosa in Zermatt over four decades I can attest that this is a very civilized and beautifully maintained destination.
