I found staff very unpleasant and will not stay there again. Had some issues that they did not deal with in a professional manner.

Stayed here for one night as an anniversary getaway and was amazed when we walked into our room. For a very good price (and AAA discount) we got a King size bed amongst beautiful furniture, and a beautiful living room with high quality TV, DVD player, and mini-fridge.
Excellent location and within walking distance of 4-6 nice and diverse restaurants as well as a full grocery store.

Last year was our first visit to the Quimby House. We found Tom & Gale Abbott to be very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, the entire staff is exceptional, from the front desk to housekeeping. Keeping that in mind, this year's stay was a no-brainer. I would recommend the Quimby House Inn to anyone wanting quality accommodations and staff.

This hotel is a fantastic deal. For very little money, you get prime location in Bar Harbor (only a block from Jordan's restaurant!) and a very clean, tidy room. The service was fantastic and I would definitely go back.
