Nice, clean, beautiful location, friendly staff, homey feel. Loved it! Only downside was the drives- due to the secluded feel of it, we had to drive a bit to get to town, but the peaceful surroundings were worth it!

interesting experience go back in time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/06
Very unique in the older cabins, partially updated, partly, original. Saw our 1st bear of the season, walking up to our cabin, on a nice summer night, scarred us half to death, then facinating to watch, as she looked for food, sneaking through the garbage. the big trees, and stories of a ghost, of a women, who died there on her honeymoon, made the stay mysterious. It will be beautiful when all renovated!

Could be a great place to stay....in the future!

The rooms at the inn where renovated a few years ago & are still ...

Historic architecture

Funky and awesomely historic. I will definitely come back with my children as it feels like an old summer camp. If we combine this with a few days at a nearby horsecamp, hiking in the area, maybe into Quincy during their county fair, I think we will have a great summer tradition.

Cabin at Feather River Inn - 2004
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/04
We checked in and immediately checked out of the Feather River Inn. We reserved a cabin instead of the main lodge and were very unpleasantly surprised. They boast of the cabins built in 1900 - well, I don't think they have been updated since then! Dirty, musty.
While the Feather River Inn may be weathered and showing its age, it is still an amazing place to stay. Surrounded by pines and far removed from the urban scene, the Feather River Inn is a great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you come to golf, fish, hike, or spend quality time with the family, the Feather ...
