The owners are very helpful and friendly. Though very close to Hwy 8, the rooms are extremely quiet, minimal noise from the road. We visit Barron and least twice a year and always come back to this restful, homey place.

Two other couples and ourselves stayed there Sun, Aug 26th, while attending a reunion nearby. Was very clean and very comfortable. Also friendly personel. I'd called a couple times ahead with questions, etc. and received courteous, friendly, helpful answers. Would definitely stay there again if in the area. Price was good too. Norma Trapp

I disagree with one of the reviews written regarding the price being too expensive for what it offers. Barron, Rice Lake and Chetek are summer lake getaways for alot of people in the Minnesota/Wisconsin areas. If you look at the hotel chains in the surrounding areas, you will find much higher rates.
