We came in late in the evening & were greeted by an extremely rude individual who made it clear that he was disturbed from whatever he was doing to serve customers. The features of the room were the TV remote that did not work ( We went downstairs to change it but the receptionist was no where to be found), the missing lightbulbs, the broken ...

This place was awful! The rooms were filthy - we wore socks so we wouldn't have to touch the carpet. If we hadn't been so tired we would have left, but there is no other motel/hotel in town. To top it off, the motel double charged my credit card - I found out days later.

In the Movie Vacancy the owner of the Motel kills his guest and then films it to show to each guest who rents a room before he kills them. That Motel with all those killings was a better place to stay than the American Budget Inn Motel.
