This is a nice clean motel with a friendly and helpful staff. They let us know about nightly indian dancing at the Cortez cultural center and some great suggestions for dinner at local restaurants. Nice Continental breakfast that is quick and easy.

The motel pretty much charges the higher rate but the motel is dated. The breakfast is, well I'm glad there is a Dennys across the street. Staff we dealt with was very nice.

We chose the hotel from the sign out front and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly attitude of the staff, comfort of our room, and the convienience of the location. All of our needs were met and we would stay here again.

I loved the Budget Host Inn because it was so close to everything (Wal Mart, Mesa Verde) and the people were so helpful. We had a lovely vacation in Cortez. The price-value relationship is excellent. The rooms were very clean, and if you wouldn't know it was a motel, it could probably be a hotel.
