I stayed at the super 8 hotel lakeland, TN at the end of January 2009. The room was not well maintained and the bathroom had a very bad mold problem. After staying one night I later found a unauthorized charge on my credit card for $50.00 from this very same super 8 and to this day I can not contact the billing person at the super 8 and no one on ...

The room was grubby. It needed some minor maintenance and some major cleaning. The bathroom had lots of stains everywhere (toilet include), and the heater made a ton of racket all night. OK for a place to crash if you don't mind a little grime, but we won't go back.

The smoke alarm is ripped out of the socket in the room I'm in. There are 5 items plugged into a single outlet, a refridgerator, a microwave, a TV, a clock and a light fixture. The owners are terrible the mattresses are worse and the noise from I 40 is unbearable.

This place should be emptied and burned to the ground.
