I liked the fact that it was close to the bridge to go to Paradise Island where the Atlantis Resort is. I also LOVED the fact that literraly right next door was a shopping plaza. Subway, KFC, grocery store, even a Starbucks! Plus the rooms have a large fridge and microwave.

Downside was the pool had a bunch of leaves in it and i guess the ...

A nice small, clean and quite hotel just off the main road - so it is close to all the things you need to get to (like beach and shops .. there is a shopping plaza right next door)but still far enough away that your not in all the hustle and bustle of the city.

The rooms are very clean and all have a fridge and microwave ... perfect for ...

It was too far from the airport which made for an expensive taxi ride.
Not a particularly friendly receptionist.
There was no hot water for a morning shower.

I just got back from spending 5 days in the Bahamas and we used the Red Carpet Inn in Nassua as our base of operations. First of all if you are staying there it is because it is one of the cheapest places to stay in that area. But is unreliable running water, poor service, and un-refundable "deposits" worth the hassle while on vacation? ...
