Good things about this place: location close to downtown, Arcata.

Place is kind of worn, but clean. Unfortunately, my non-smoking room reeked of vanillaish air freshner, so strong it woke me up at night!

Blanket was thin acrylic and not esp. warm. Room was clean. Ckeck in was simple.

This place is right on 101 south so ...

Beds were comfortable and clean. I was surprised to find a microwave, refrigerator, iron, and coffee in the room!
Nothing fancy - we were coming in late and leaving in the morning and just were looking for an inexpensive, clean, comfortable room - and we found just that!
Check in and check out were very quick and simple. There was even a tiny continental breakfast.
I would stay again.

We've never stayed here. We've read the reviews, prior to making reservations (we have a family member in a wheelchair)and after reading the reviews, we've definitely been scared away, and aren't requesting reservations from this facility. Hopefully, these reviews aren't coming from disgruntled employees, competitors, etc.
