I visited this motel about a month ago. First, they use keys which went out in the 80's. They need to upgrade to cards. The lock on the sliding glass door was broken and a deadbolt was installed but I did not feel safe. I prayed the whole night no one would break in or break in my car. The next night we checked into a better hotel. Sometimes a bargain isn't worth it.

I was in town to attend the Valentine's Day gala at the Bay Center. This motel was filthy dirty & run down. This dump needs to be totally renovated or, better yet, demolished. I paid $96.12 total for the night...what a rip-off!!

We were very disappointed in SeaEsta III and will not recommend to anyone. We left early given the lack of everything except for being relatively close to the beach. The bathroom is so small you have to sit sideways on the commode!! Never again!!

I was very impressed with the Sea Esta III. The rate was very reasonable, the room was VERY clean despite the age of this hotel, and the staff were very pleasant. It was also really nice to have a fridge, range, and microwave.

My son and I stay in Dewey every year for about 5 days. We have always stayed in the Sea Esta motels and for the past 2 years, we stayed at #3. It suited my needs, which were to be comfortable, quiet, and clean. This year my son saw the pool at the Atlantic Oceanside motel and wanted to stay there. My favorite on is Sea Esta I because of it's convenience to the beach and the little restaurant next door. However; Sea Esta III has a beautiful view and is more modern. We already have reservations for April 6th-8th, 2008!!!

We usually stay here on an annual basis. Close to the beach and restuarants. It's great to have a place so welcoming to our dog. Pets are also welcome on the beach in early morning and all evening. The fact that the town's police station is just across the side street gives me a sense of security. The night staff person was very helpful when we needed to get medical help in the middle of the night.

We will never go back there again! Two years ago, we went for the Elvis competition at Ruddertowne, and picked this place because it was so close. The room stunk and was dirty, and now I know why. The following year, we rode through Dewey during the Grayhound "convention". At Sea Estes, there were dogs all over the balconies of this hotel/motel!...I mean 50-60-70 dogs. Never again!

I loved the location, close to the rusty rutter and we could listen to their steel bands on our balcony as we looked out at the bay. Across the street is the ocean and the bay is right behind us. What more could you ask for? The staff is friendly and very helpful and best of all we got to bring our dogs! Restaurants galore within walking ...
