My biggest problem with the motel was the unfriendly service. Other problems included: broken screens and thus bugs, dirty carpet, no soap, shampoo & conditioner were never replaced.
The location was personally convenient, nice to avoid town traffic. The gardens were also very pretty.

Sorry Stamford, but when your parents owned/operated it, the place was really super clean and reliable. You cut down too many trees, which gave ambience to the place ... gave us phone number to call you when we arrived [as you would be at your restaurant in town] and were not very hospitable.
