My family along with five other families,friends of my parents went to Ames Farm Inn from 1974 to 1981,annually for weekend in June. I found it to be an awesome place. It was very tranquil. The owners were very accomadating. I have some awesome memories of the time that I spent there. I would most definitely recomend Ames Farm Inn to other people!

MARRIED PERSONS, AND FAMILY.
TO VERY BUSY, TO VERY PEACEFUL.
MANY MEMORIES. DON'T GET BACK THERE ENOUGH.
ALWAYS WONDERFUL NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER.
BEEN THERE WHEN VERY HOT. WISH WE BROUGHT
THE FANS WITH US. BEEN THERE WHEN IT WAS COLD.
ONE YEAR WE HAD TWO HAIL STORMS WHEN THERE
THE THIRD WEED OF JULY. SHOULD HAVE HAD
SNOW SHOVELS.

The people at Ames Farm Inn are so friendly and laid back. The property is expansive and comfortably underdeveloped - lots of open space. The buildings and apartments are older, we stayed in an efficiency apartment, the decor of the rooms is unremarkable but sparkling clean with a really nice view. This place is like my home away from home! Its incredible here! Theres a store, a breakfast/lunch restaurant, a dock, and so many friendly people that you meet here that you never want to leave! Theres plenty of games to play, a beach, everything! This is a great spot to vacation with your family! I love it here!
