We love Idaho SpringsWe have stayed here a couple of times and have always enjoyed our visit. We recommend a room with a river view. You can watch the rafters float down right in front of your room and if your lucky the big horn sheep will come out on the side of the mountain on the other side of the river. A favorite no moreWe used to love escaping from the city to the Heritage Inn for a few days, but no more. We were promised early check in when we made the room reservation but when we arrived the desk girl on duty refused to let us have the room. Home far away from HomeI made a quick decision to stay in Idaho Springs. What I didn't expect was the variety of rooms. My wife and I had a huge selection of rooms and we loved out stay.

They wouldn't let our kids stay!!When I-70 was shut down my husband and 3 small children were looking for a place to stay. They had 1 room left but said no more than 3 people could stay. So nice, we extended our stayWe made the trip June 2006. My sister, niece and I made the trip to Idaho Springs for 2 days at this hotel. It was so nice we extended our stay for 2 more days. WoW!!!!My husband and I at the last minute late one night decided to stay over in this quaint little town and the people at this hotel where nice and polite. The room that you got is a great size and the ammenities where awsome. The personal patios with a river running behind and the picnic benches it is all very wonderful.
