We stayed a couple nights in Oct 07 and found it delightful, water worked just fine, suite was great! Staff was courteous and helpful! The restaurant was not terrible, but did not have a kids menu, which was bad, did get our main dishes, mixed up as to how done, but it wasnt' worthless by any means, despite that, food the previous day was fine, ...

Everything was within walking distance and the poeple were very nice. My wife and I were there in May-2007. Loved every minute of our stay. The beartooth pass is a beautiful place to visit. A grand old hotel that's become shabby, and worse, very poorly managed and operated. The staff, from the general manager on down, is simply inadequate to the task of operating an A-grade property. Equally bad, the formerly high-quality restaurant advertises excellence and delivers lousy food. If you've been here before, watch out! It definitely isn't what it used to be.

The Pollard is an historic hotel with great possibilities. However, the management and the amenities need work. There is a 14-day cancellation policy that they do not tell you about. The plumbing system has major problems--only hot water in the sink, only cold water in the shower, etc. They put us in a room that they knew did not have working ...

The Pollard is a great hotel, the room was exceptional, location great,and I really enjoyed my short stay.

I am a firm believer that people make the big difference.When I arrived I first met Diane, the front desk person. With that big smile and great personality,she could make a dump look good.Of course The pollard is great anyway.
