The website is very misleading. Those pics that are on the site had to been taking 30 yrs ago or when they first open. LOL!!! The pics on the site isnt the same when u step up in that dump. The hotel is filthy and has an odor. I had to get another room because the hot water wasn’t working. Plus, when we switch rooms the heat wasn’t ...
The website is totally misleading. Not sure what hotel those photos were taken, but I think I would like to stay there or have the photographer that photoshopped the Pelham pictures do my portraits.
The hotel was beyond filthy. Just to document the complaints:
1. Sheets (supposedly just changed) had long black hairs on the pillows.
Very biker friendly!!!! We rode through on our way to the rally in Gulfport, Miss. from Willis, Texas. This place allowed us to park our 4 Harley's on the sidewalk just to the right of the doorway. The valet watched our bikes like a hawk. It was awesome. He also recommended a great breakfast place: Orleans Cafe. The rooms were nice. ...

Oh, God

My sister and I stayed there the year before Katrina. The staff was nice, but pretty much took no responsibility for guests - and trust me, if the place is clean, we are pretty easy to please BUT...the room we checked into had ants and I don't mean a few. We bought a couple of slices of pie and set them on a small table while unpacking, turned ...

I will never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/07
I didn't have a pleasant stay at all. I made the online booking two weeks before arrival at the hotel. But when I arrived, they said no rooms were currently available. Then I was assigned a double bed room which was not the one I originally booked. They charged everyone for extra money for safety and communication regardless whether you will ...

A shame for new Orleans
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
I think this Hotel is one of the worst plases to stay at New orleans. Warm water ist only sometimes available. There are Rooms without window!!
You can hear the elevator during the whole night, so you can be sure that there is no sleep possible and Housceeping ist starting at 7 with machines in Front of the rooms. So I will say, that in this hotel is no Spirit of the "new New-Orleans"
hotel seemed somewhat lacadiscal... but from what the city has been through.. it was on ok experience...
when you factor in the cost, it was above average

The Pelham
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/05
The Pelham Hotel in New Orleans was excellent in every category. Especially location. It is nestled in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance to practically everything in New Orleans. The price was outstanding, at about a hundred dollars a night, on a weekend.
This hotel exudes a quiet romance in it's interior design. The rooms are tastefully appointed with four poster beds, and exposed brick walls. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to all attractions. A very nice getaway retreat priced attractively.
The Pelham is conveniently located to the French Quarter and the Business District. The staff are friendly and pleasant. When requests were made for additional service, everyone was helpful. The Restuarant in the Triangle of the hotel lobby area is well staffed and excellent portions of well planned menues are available. The rooms we stayed in ...
