It was a pleasant surprize, we loved it and would go back, if in Hawaii again. It was a relaxing restful place to stay, close to Volcano National Park, she had items you would need to hike to the lava flow. This is a cottage with a do it yourself, or you can go to her home for a well prepared, and delicious breakfast in the morning.

What an amazing place to stay. When all around the volcanoes is barren, these quaint cottages are nestled in a wonderful garden storybook land. Cottage #44 was like visting a fairyland.
