This hotel is in the perfect location and is a great value. The rooms are large by most European standards and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Amsterdam.

Amsterdam family vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/07
We traveled with another family for our son's graduation present. We found the hotel to be very comfortable, friendly, save and the location was great. The location was convenient to museums, bus, trains, resturants, etc. The food is expensive at the hotel but there are cafe's around the corner which were good. We purchased the I-Amsterdam ...

I am often in Amsterdam on business trips and from now on will always stay at the NH City Centre. I have read lots of reviews from people on the staff and size of rooms etc. OK the staff can seem to be a bit curt at times, but that is only when they are really busy, most of the time they are abslutely fantastic. As for size of rooms...come on this ...
Great location, the hotel looked like a uni hall of residence. Very clean room, the rooms are a little tired looking and no mini bar in room 110 anyway.
Lost of nice places around the hotel to eat and 10 mintues walk to city center, very nice friendly staff, a nice hotel to stay.

We'll stay in this hotel every time we go to Amsterdam!

This hotel was excellent, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff was excellent, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location can't be beat. Anne Frank's house, Madame Tussaud's and the Red Light District are only minutes from this hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel three diffrent times each times was excelent. The hotel is located about four blocks from the city center. The rooms are always clean and the staff helpful. They offer breakfast in the morning but I suggest walking to the pastry shop at the bottom corner of the hotel. It's wonderful and cheap. If your A-Dam to ...
I went over with a colleague from work for 2 nights. On arrival we got a bit lost but then found it ok. We arrived around 2pm so put our luggage in a holding room where they give you a ticket for each item and then had a walk around until check in time at 3pm.
We asked for a twin room with a canal view. The room was small but fine as we were ...

Don't particularly like the decor. Very dutch in style but very brown.
Bar service excellent, when open.
Food good value.
Problems with late check in particularly after travelling overnight. 3pm even though rooms are ready.
Spuistraat an ideal centre, close to tram stops, shopping, flower market and short walk to most popular tourist attractions.
