not so comfortable!This hotel was awful. I would definitely not choose to stay here again. The location was good but the hotel itself was very basic. The room & furnishings stank of stale smoke we had to go out & buy air freshener! I could still smell stale smoke on my clothes by the time I got home. Nice digs...Nice, older building in good neighborhood. Close to tube station. Friendly staff, helpful conseirge, clean. Breakfast was varied and good, not necessary to pay for "upgrade" meal.2 of 2 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

My first time to LondonThis hotel is good for what it is, meaning its good for sleeping, showering, and using the toilet. That is it!!!! If you don't like spending any time in your hotel room then I would reccomend this to you, but if not then please search elsewhere. Not Luxe, But Not PrisonThe previous review mentions small rooms, and that is true. We were in a triple and two of the beds were abutting, so it was difficult to get into the one on the wall. The TV was also tiny, and seemed smaller yet since it sat on a shelf near the ceiling.

Don't stay hereWe, my wife and two children (12 and 16) have been to London several times. We would not even spend one night here. Very small rooms, even by European standards. For example, the bathroom door would not open all the way because it hit the end of the bed.
