My husband and I stayed there in May of '07. We enjoyed the hot tub, the free kayaks (the best!), comfortable room, clean bathroom, lots of treats in the basket. The location is great- restaurants, hiking paths are nearby. We highly recommend the Red Wolf!
We love Lake Tahoe but will never stay here again. (Note: this is not the lodge at Squaw Valley)
This place could use a good superintendent and manager to bring this place to a minimum standard and address the plumbing and insulation issues. Yikes! I really rely on other's reviews and want to share this info only to save someone else from ...
We've been going to RWLL for ten years, and since we've moved to another part of the country we will not likely be going back. Old-world charm, modern amenities
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/06
The Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge delivers all the modern amenities in a package reminiscent of cozy '50-era Lake Tahoe cottages. Beautiful wood-trimmed interiors, easy-to-use fireplaces, and an outdoor hot tub with an incredible view of Lake Tahoe made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend the Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay in one of the most beautiful places around.

With two kids, we prefer two bedroom units, each kid has one room, and we sleep in the living room. Two bedrooms accomodates 6 ppl. During the summer, it gets even better. Property ...
