The place is very old and a bit run down but the service was very good and the food was great we did have a problem with the hot water presure the second night there but they upgraded us to a much bigger and better room overall a nice experiance We would go back for Sure!

We stayed at Penn Hills for a weekend and it was a very odd experience. The resort was basically deserted, there were very few guests around. The resort itself seemed to be suffering from a lot of neglect. It appeared that management was having a difficult time maintaining/updating the resort. the resort was more like a motel! it was so dirty and over priced. there was water leaking out of the seilling and stains on the carpet. i would not recomend it to anyone.

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked my honeymoon there! It was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. I have stayed in some extremely nice hotels that were less expensive, too. If we hadn't been positive and adventurous people then we would have been totally devastated. Fortunately, the area is beautiful and fun to explore. I wonder if anyone has thought to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Penn Hill's!! I have two words for it .. LOVE IT.. i had the most wonderful time .. in the Jacuzzi.. the pool.. everything was just great about it... if i can live ther i WOULD!

Absolutely unacceptable that this place has 3 stars on any website or rating system. It is horrible, rundown and filthy!!!
