Checking in was very slow. The first room the A/C did not work, plus it was dirty. We complained received another room. The shower in this room did not drain very well, and you could hear the people in the next room talking. The day we left our bathroom was flooded, because the bathroom above us was leaking.

OMG Stay somewhere else!
By dawngjenkins, 10/03/08
I am writing this the night we return from our one and only Vegas trip. I was so upset with the accomodations I had to let everyone know right away. The hotel lobby and the rest of the common areas are dark and creepy. You can't walk ten feet without staff trying to "give" you tickets to a show....after you tour their new resort. ...

Probably won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/01/08
We stayed at the Luxor because of the new Chris Angel "Believe" show this year which is another story. Worst show we've ever seen if you're interested. But back to the Luxor, all in all not a bad experience but the hotel needs a face lift. All of the carpet in the corridors is pretty torn up, the furniture in the rooms is in ...

$2.00 charge for every room automatically = $$$
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/26/08
Wow, Luxor has extra income by charging every reservation and stay $2.00 automatically. Not only was the service and rooms lousy but I was surprised at the above charge. Just think how many rooms the hotel has x $2.00 what an extra income

Listen to the bad reviews
By davewright1983, 09/23/08
After just stopping at the luxor, i can really understand the bad vibes from the reviewers about the luxor, we were booked into this hotel not by choice but as a tour to 4 different places with virgin, if i knew before hand, what i know now, I would have insisted on stopping almost anywhere but here, to me, they have spent far to much $$$ on the ...

Excellent time

Stay at the Luxor. These people that write these bad reviews probably don't have a goot time anywhere-I'm not them. If you want to spend $500 a night or more, stay at the Bellagio and get waited on hand and foot. If you want to have drinks, have fun at the pool and go clubbing, stay at the Luxor. Clean rooms, nice staff, and an overall ...

never again.
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/02/08
It was generally too dark and poorly built hotel. You hear people talking through the wall, annoying sound of toilet flush, foot steps on the hallway, and all unpleasant noises you can think of. I and my wife both heard a sound of ghost - lady sobbing under the bed. First we both ignored it, and I heard it again for the second time and for the ...

Nerver again at the Luxor
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 08/21/08
Very dissapointed in this Hotel our room was not very clean, bedroom furniture was somewhat past its best, The noise from renovation work was dreadfull. Only two inclinators to our floor, and always a lot of people waiting. Also long walk to our room from inclinator. We stayed here for 6 nights and vending machine on our floor empty for the last 4 days. We loved Las Vegas But next time we will go to another hotel.
The only positive thing was that we did not have to wait for the water in the shower to warm up but most of The Strip is like that due to water shortages in the desert. Some mold was present in the corners of the bathrrom though. Breakfast is much better at McDonalds in the foodcourt or 1.00 cheaper per person at Monte Carlo instead of the ...

Terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 08/17/08
My husband and I used to stay at the Luxor until now. First of all, the room we got was 150 rooms away from the inclinator. After much waiting, they switched us to a room we thought would be better. Besides being close to the inclinator, the room sucked. The a/c and t.v. remote did not work (it was 108 degrees outside). After several calls to ...
