This place needs work!I stayed in early July 2008. The first room we were given had no towels. The attendant said (nicely though) that the towel cart was upstairs and I could get them myself (That's an F for service in my book). Shortly after we discovered the toilet was leaking at the base so we were moved to another room. The walls, doors and bathroom were filthy. ...10 of 12 Yahoo! wowThis place is very cute and it suits and meets your needs for the price. It has a western touch to it that really is appealing. We wouldn't have minded spendidn the rest of the vacation here. The restaurant is a little pricey but there are local eateries near by that are very reasonable in prices and tasty! Very simple but straight to the point!4 of 6 Yahoo! Not Happy. No Hot waterThe rooms were very small, we got no hot water, the pools were absolutely freezing. The pillows were very worn out, and my air mattress was more comfortable than the bed. Also, the WiFi at the hotel was very weak, and went down often. The food quality at this hotel was not the greatest, but it was edible. The area around the hotel, as in Aguadilla, ...7 of 7 Yahoo! An old military baseWe stayed with a tour group from January 19 until January 22, 2008. Not one room have an electric outlet in the bathroom. The only outlet in the room was on top of a picture above the night stand too high for my reach. The towels were thinner than a sheet and some had holes on them. They have no wash cloths either. Make sure you fet one of the upper floorsI stayed there from July 18, through the 20th. I think the place use to be some of the old barracks from the base that they tried to fix up. Well, it still looks like the baracks. The rooms weren't bad, But I could have used a remote for the t.v., and I could have used a working phone, and some extra towels, and a floor mat for the shower...all ...4 of 5 Yahoo! Well, I'll try to judge this place as fairly as I can... I stayed at the Lazy Parrot in Rincon the night before!

Will go backI am going back to El Faro in July.. I was there last year for the first time... It was great.. Pools, Play area for the kids, Restaurant, Bar.. El faroThis hotel is affordable ,clean with spacious rooms.It's minutes away from the Auguadilla airport,so coming from the south of the U.S.by Spirit airlines will be a breeze! Crashboat beach is also nearby, an experience you don't want to miss. The service ,appropiate and helpful.The view oustanding.
