This inn has been taken over by new management in the last year or so. They have raised their prices sky high. Their prices are equivalent to what you would expect for a room with an ocean view except you don't get an ocean view. The faucets are corroded and the grout needs cleaning. They are going to price themselves out of the business at this rate and they don't seem to care that they do so.

Room was very spacious. However, fireplace had flame only 1 inch high. Heater made ticking noise whenever it came on that woke us up at night. Maids were very noisy in morning. We tried to book a room at this place. when my husband called the staff would not give information on the rooms or the prices. I tried again to call them and they very rudely said they where booked. We've been to the Rosedale Inn a few times and each time it's been great. Nice clean rooms, with large jacuzzi type tubs in bath. No rooms above you, cottage style. Very quiet too. Across the street from trail to ocean, nice boardwalk. We highly recommend it.

We've stayed at the Rosedale Inn many times over the last 9 years. The best features are the beatiful surroundings and charming rooms with lots of unexpected extras. It's a great place for a romantic getaway or weekend trip with the kids. Additionally, it's a great value. I don't think you'll find a better deal in the area. It's our favorite place in the Monterey Bay Area.
