I have taken my mom here for lunch a number of times and liked its sweet atmosphere. It is quiet, so we could talk and have a converation without competing with other people or overly loud music. I love a good chicken fried steak, and the one I stumbled on in bastrop, TX sets the bar very very high. I'm not just talking about in the state of texas either, it has my vote as the best i've ever eaten ANYWHERE!!!!OVERALL
