We had the most wonderful time during our three nite stay! The owners became great friends!! The staff was so inviting and delightful. We used the free scooters for two days and explored so many awesome places. We stopped at the bar last year for a drink, so this year we went back. Last year we enjoyed talking to the bartender.

On both visits, we were the only people in the bar. We had a martini and a mojito. The bill was $23 before the tip. What a RIP-OFF!!!
This year the owner was the bartender. While pleasant, she must get her kicks gouging tourist on the drink prices. My advice...never go near the place.

The pictures portrayed on this website are not at all what you get. WE had a deluxe room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, fireplace did not work, no hot water in the shower, blankets stunk. Picutres on internet do not do this B&B justice. The pictures are 100 times better than the actual place. The Florida House practices false advertising as the place is just horrible. Bad service, bad rooms, over priced, absolutly not worth staying. Needs painting, needs cleaning, needs to be completely re-done. Burnt out light bulbs, smelly ...

The restaurant used to be GREAT. We would always take visitors there for a Southern "feed". But when it changed ownership several years ago, it lost a lot of its' charm...and quality. There are much better places to eat on the Island.

Never stayed at the Inn so I cannot comment on that.
