The best views in town. Great staff with superb service. A little expensive for what it is. The swimming pool has been empty for years, but sitting by the empty pool as the sun goes down is one of the best views in Africa.

Unbeatable view overlooking the city of Gondar. No water in the pool but that is ok concidering the overall water shortage in the near by rural areas. The two outstanding features of this hotel are it's location and it's staff. The staff are warm, welcoming, and make efforts to be helpful. The Hotel is located at the summit of the Tigre Mechohia mountain with stunning views of Gondar with it's many churches and castles. Cleanliness could be improved, and facilities updated, but overall it was a pleasant stay.
