I booked this room through Expedia for its discounted price, but I should've known better. We walked into a room that smelled of must and some rotten stink. Then I turned on the lights to find a room that looked like its gone through centuries of wear and tear and no up keep. The wallpaper was peeling all over and there was an old Zeneth TV ...
For the amount of time spent there, it was a rip off. The room smelled musty. No remote for the TV that was about as old as my grandma. The mattress box springs had rips in it(oh yes I looked before laying down). The sink area, when we ran the sink, the floor became wet from who knows where, as well as the counter. The shower had mold around it ...
A word of advise: Ask to see the room first, then decide if it's worth your money or your health.
This place is a total scam!
They have somone at the front to lie to potential guests (or should I say victims) and say that this is a great place to just lie your head and get some rest for the night. I highly doubt that the most recent good ...
Was a little concerned because the price was sooooo reasonable, but what a great surprise. So clean! there was a man cleaning outside, it seemed the whole time we were there. The staff was very nice upon checkin and gave us a $5.00 off cupon. It was close to restaurants and stores. Would stay again if I was in the area.
My friends and I were traveling to Tijuana, Mexico for a wedding on a Saturday and we needed a place to stay for the weekend. The hotel was nice enough. Our first room did have ants in the AC however. A quick call to the front desk and we were given another room that was very clean. The staff we encountered was very friendly and willing to meet our needs. Will stay again when in the area.
I was visiting some friends in the area and didn't want to spend and a ton of money on a few nights in town. The front desk was friendly and helpful.
I'm not sure where the previous posters stayed because my room was spotless! I had a brand NEW bed, (free of mites and blood sucking bugs), clean sheets and towels. The bathroom was clean and free of mold.
I will stay at the travel inn again the next time I visit Chula Vista!
Dont be fooled by the look of the place. Once you step in the room it is disgusting. The carpet is soiled and with a real bad odor. THe bed have bed bugs and mites. The bathroom had mold all over the place. I would not recommend anyone to even waste their time and money there. Beaware!!! Once they take your money they you will not see your money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a out of town visitor and decided to stay at this motel for the night. I couldn’t believe I woke up with itchy red spots all over my body. I ran to the shower to find these somewhat bugs clinging to my skin and hair. I got changed and left that place. I complained to the front desk and they looked at me like I was crazy.
My night at the Travel Inn turned out to be a terrible unexpected experience. Everything seemed to be in order and clean, until I went to bed. I was uncomfortable sleeping, tossing and turning throughout the night. At about 2 in the morning, I got up to go to the bathroom. Once I turned on the light, I noticed blood spots on my pajama's. ...
