This hotel should be rated 2 1/2 stars, not quite 3. Had loose bathroom pipe which started leaking, but when we called, the problem was fixed almost immediately. Asked for extra towels, got almost immediately. Room was good except the pillows were too small. Bathroom was clean (room 603). The heater would sometimes get VERY loud. The breakfast ...
The location of the hotel is very good. I did not have to take my car out for the two days that I stayed there. The breakfast is very good as they have many choices. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is ok. - Overall it is worth for the money that you pay.
Their continental breakfast was great! Most hotels around there does not offer this. Direction to popular attractions was handy from the hotel staff. I guess, they programmed in their computer system all popular locations that visitors like to go and prints it out a split second. If you are looking for an affordable hotel with great service, The Pointe is way to go. Did I mention that it's very close to the Falls? Yeah!

Perfect Location for Walking!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/08
July 30 - Aug 2: If you don't want to have the hassle of sitting in a car while waiting to cross either border or the cost of parking, this Comfort Inn is within walking distance of all the American attractions. We walked across the border to the Canadian attractions and took the People Mover there, to go up and down the strip. The room was ...
We just came back from Niagara FAlls USA. I have been on the Canadian side too and I was shocked to see how depressing the US side is. Specially it seemed run down area. However the Niagara Falls park is really nice and plenty of places to view falls.
The hotel itself is ok. The rooms were clean and had basis amenities, but no microwaves ...

it is closest to the falls alright, but the room stunk. the bathroom is small and floor was dirty. tv did not work and air conditioning did not keep room at a comfortable level at night.. the breakfast was ok but it was in the basement and like eating in a dungeen comfort inn should take the metal away from this one
The room was clean and quiet. Great value and location. You walk across the street to see the American Falls. The con't brkfst was so-so. The walk to the Casino was ok but Niagra Falls the city is run down and a little scary. The buffet at the casino is a must. It is great value. There is not alot to do on the American Side but it the best side to experience the power of the falls,
