Is hotel is not a good hotel to stay at! Though the rooms are nice and clean the people are awful and service is worst! They over chagered my card credit card by $100. I'm a Hilton Gold member, and they walked me to the neighboring Best Western - yes, that's right, the Best Western. Pitiful treatment.
Was subsequently told that this never happens and that the staffer at the desk that evening was inexperienced. To make matters worse, I was held responsible for the bill at the Best Western, having to spend the next day negotiating with Hilton to cover the tab. Terrible.

Gem of a Hotel

This hotel is a 5-star property masquerading as a 3-star.
The accomodations are luxurious, the food is wonderful and the staff is exceptional.
If you ever have to stay in Indianapolis, avoid downtown and head north to the Hilton on Shadeland. It's convenient to the interstate and well worth the extra bit of travel to the city center.
This is one of the nicest Hilton Hotels that I have stayed at. The location was perfect, easly accessible to the freeways so that I could get to anywhere I was going with ease! The newly renovated look of the hotel was AWEsome. I can't wait to return to the friendly staff and great service I received. The next time I am in town I have no need to shop around beacause I know exactly where I want to stay!
