I came down to Daytona Beach for a reception and we had a large block of rooms on the 3rd floor of the South Tower. Overall, I'd rate the stay as a 3 (on a scale of 5 with 5 being "Perfect" and 1 being "Never Again").
The Room - I found the room somewhat small but acceptable considering the price (the group received a ...

THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT SPOT ON THE BEACH, ALTHOUGH THE WALK TO THE ROOM AND THE BEACH WAS FAR. THEY COULD HAVE USED MORE RESTROOMS CLOSER TO THE BEACH. THE ACCOMIDATIONS WERE NICE EXCEPT THE BALCONY WAS ONLY 1 FOOT WIDE. AT THE TIME WE BOOKED OUR ROOM I WAS TOLD THERE WASN'T ANY GROUPS OR FUNCTIONS AT THE HOTEL OR IN DAYTONA THAT WEEK, AND ...

My husband and I stayed here on Father's Day weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and customer service was quite organized. We took the 7 hr. drive from Atlanta to Daytona arrving about 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. and were allowed to check in at that time. Our room was on the 4th floor of the north side of the hotel and our ...

I liked the valet parking, even though it costs $15. The barmaid was very quick to notice me there and polite.
I did not like the cockroach that fortunately fell off the bathroom counter into the garbage can. My 15yr old grand-daughter spotted it in the garbage can so did not scream because she knew it couldn't get out. Called housekeeping ...

great hotel!

This was a great hotel. My family and I stayed for 4 nights during Spring break in a one bedroom condo. There were lots of things to do onsite-swimming pools (indoor and out), kids activity center, minature golf, close to the beach. Daytona Lagoon was just a few blocks away. The Ocean Walk Village was attached and there you can find food, starbucks, and clothing. The only negative thing was the lack of a good restaurant within walking distance.
We stayed in the cabanas, and we loved it. it was 2 adults 3 kids, and it was a great size. When we open the door right outside the beach, and we were walking distance to all the good spots.
although new - needs renovations - rooms large -on the way to becoming seedy -good staff /pool - gym needs some new equipment -food selection poor - no cleaning service in room
I stayed here over XMAS while visiting family and enjoyed it. Nice views of the ocean and located in the center of Daytona. I would suggest staying in the South Tower since it's closer to the hotel's amenities. But if you have kids you might want the North Tower since that's where the kids' pool and rec center is. The hotel's ...

Pleasant Stay...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/07
We stayed at the Hilton for a long weekend over Memorial Day weekend. Our overall stay was nice with the execption of a few drawbacks.
*Roaches in the room. *No safe in rooms. *Not enough chairs poolside. *Chinsey pool towels provided. *Valet parking at hotel approx. $14 daily.
During our stay I found a huge roach in my suitcase. When I ...
