This motel is in an odd but fine location. Clean rooms but with a few problems. Upon arrival, I was told that I was a "no-show" as an introduction to the motel by the women desk-clerk. I explained and offered to give my cancellation confirmation number by the man who accepted my cancellation of the 1st night a month prior. She ...
The handicapped-accessible rooms are as far away from everything you might want at a hotel as possible. The staff was gracious about bringing me ice and beverages, but I had to drive to the lobby for my breakfast. There is no accessible bathroom near the lobby -- the only one is down a full flight of stairs. There are no automatic doors to enter ...
The hallways and room smells like cat piss. The beds and pillows were horribly uncomforatble. They need new mattress and pillows. I am canceling my future reservations and booking a room else where preferably a 4 or 5 star hotel if i can find one in the area. i couldnt even sleep. I didnt want breakfast out of a box. cheap donuts etc. didnt even bother with that. i guess thats why i usually stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel.
This is a pet friendly hotel. In fact we found out that a dog had stayed in our room and slept in the bed after the fact. They had not changed the sheets since the dog left. My husband smelled the dog odor. No one told us. This is actually a board of health issue. Internet service was not free only if you have a wireless card installed. Food was bad. Room was dirty. Hair dryer from 1960's. This is the worst hotel we have every stayed in!!!!
I was really impressed by the facilities and was attracted to the complimentary transportation to Cornell. The complimentary breakfast was more than expected. Instead of utilizing the complimentary computer (because of the popularity), I recommend checking email at one of the Cornell libraries. Plus, the fridge and microwave came in handy. In addition, the location is walking distance to the supermarket and fast food establishments.
