We stay at this hotel everytime we go to Northampton, which has been at least 2x per year for the last 3 years. If you were expecting something ritzy, you may want to go to the $300 a night hotel in town. won't stay again

The floors creaked and groaned, the carpet looked 100 years old. The hotel billed our credit card twice. For $105 per night, I expected better.
After reading the other NEGATIVE reviews, I wonder if we are talking about the same hotel. We must have arrived after the remodeling because we found the rooms to very appealing, clean, safe, very affordable, and the location was ideal to the city center. And no one stole anything from us!

The first day the cleaning staff was in our room our money was stolen. The management did not treat us well after reporting this and has yet to return our calls and make contact with us.

Basic hotel that needs refurbishment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/04
This is a basic hotel in the middle of a building site at present (August 2004) and very close to the drone of the motorway. Not very good value and rather noisy (lots of bikers there, the night we stayed). Would not recommend another stay there. In need of refurbishment in the older rooms. Staff were pleasant, however.
