The Hyatt Regency is easily the best resort in Aruba. The location on the beach, the open and airy reception entry way, the beautifully designed rooms, the cascading pool make it the ideal getaway.

Raw sewage at the beach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
My friend and I were swimming at around 5:15 p.m. The tour boat at the dock discharged all their bathrooms and we were swimming in raw sewage. The hotel's manager did not care and barely listened to our health concerns. I would never go back there.

The Best Hotel In The World
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/08
Love the hotel it is a wonderful clean hotel with the best staff, best water, and best food! I have to say the beach that the hyatt is on is the most clean beach in the Palm Beach stretch. I am going back for my sixth time again in March 2009. Must Stay!!!!!
Went back again the beach still smells like raw sewage, the water is no longer clear it's very dirty and when you walk in the water the plastic cups, mush from dead stuff it is disgusting. The hotel does not care anymore and I need clean water when I go away on a vacation. The people who have worked there for years are still very nice but new ...

White Sand Beach & Crystal Clear Water Paradise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/07
The Hyatt Regency Aruba is great! It has a stunning pool and stunning beach! You have a great time and you always have something to do. They are in the process of renovating it now and it will be done in the Summer of 2007.
The Hyatt aruba is the best resort on the island. they have an awesome pool, fantastic restaurants...especially Ruinas, are at the perfect location on the island, friendly staff and on and on.
I'm going to be as fair as I possibly can... When we arrived for our honeymoon it was clear that there was ongoing construction (which we knew of; it was said to be "unobtrusive"). Our bellman helped us to our room and he was great,,, friendly and helpful. The next morning we awoke to the noise of construction,,, at around 8 am. ...

The rooms are small but very clean. Staff is well trained but not fake. Nice atmosphere, you want to stay and live there. Great food in the restaurants.
The Hyatt is by far the best hotel in Aruba. I've stayed there the last 4 of the 6 times I've been to Aruba and would not stay anyplace else. While I found the Radisson to be nice, it was a bit boring and quiet. The rooms are set far back from the beach as well. The Hyatt is much more lively, with bands and karoake at night and a lively ...

I was very disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/05
We stayed at the Hyatt on 6 occasions. The place was perfect the first 5, but our last trip 2 years ago was a major disappointment. The carpet was filthy, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. I sent a note to the hotel stating my unhappiness and they never had the courtesy to even respond. I wasn't looking for any freebies, just ...
