My husband and myself recently moved to Smithfield and after doing a little unpacking we decided to find a place for a bite. As we past the Smithfield Station I remebered friends in Norfolk telling us how wonderful it was. They were on the money and if the crab stuffed rockfish didn't make your mouth water one of the owners Brian certainly will. Thanks for everything.

perfect destination for your wedding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/07
My wife and I held our wedding in Smithfield, and the Station supported us every step of the way. They went out of their way to book rooms for all of our guests, catered excellent food for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception (which is the same delicious food served in the restaurant), and reserved their one-of-a-kind replica lighthouse ...

don't believe the bad reviews

i have boated to smithfield station for over 15 years and never had a problem. the owners and staff go out of their way to help for an enjoyful stay. if you have a concern you only have to look for ron pack or his sons brian and randy. they will help. the new rooms and marina expansion are first class.

Charm abounds!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/07
I always enjoy staying someplace that shows the owners finger print and such is the case with Smithfield Station. It's obvious, from the moment you pull up, that you are going to be in for a treat. No cookie cutter lodging here. Instead, thank goodness, you find yourself looking at some really neat costal inspired buildings that make up this ...
My husband and I decided to stay the night at the Smithfield Station since they were hosting his 10 year high school reunion. We got one of the rooms in the brand new hotel overlooking the water, with a balcony, and a jacuzzi. We had a blast! It was soo relaxing to hang out on the balcony and to check out an awesome view of the river. The room ...

Talk about a room with a view!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/07
We travel to Smithfield Station by boat several times a year and it has become one of our favorite stops. We recently visited for a long weekend and had the opportunity to check out the new addition. The view from the rooms are spectacular and they are very well decorated. The new shops are just an added bonus! As always, the food and service throughout the hotel was outstanding. We can't wait to go back!
A stay in the Smithfield Station is a must if you are in the area. The rooms are cozy, the views are magnificent, and the seafood (I especially enjoyed the shrimp cocktail) is fabulous. Notably, the Station restaurant also has an extensive wine list.

Great getaway destination
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/07
I have stayed at Smithfield Station twice. Three years ago we hosted a rehearsal dinner and had family staying at the Station for the weekend. We were very impressed by the overall accomodations and service. The rehearsal dinner could not have been nicer with cocktails on the deck overlooking the marina and Pagan River.
Recently my wife and I ...

Great experiences!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/07
I've used this facility for several large events (200-300 people) over the years, and the service and attitude have always been fantastic. When not there with a group, I've also stayed there overnight and have always thoroughly enjoyed myself. A great place to 'get away from it all'.
