This was our 3rd trip to this resort & by far it was the WORST!! There is new management to make things better...what a joke. Now you have to pay $1.00 for a towel at the pool, there is NOWHERE to eat & the pics on line are a total LIE!! The pool water was cloudy everyday, we had roaches in our room, the carpet was gross (stains ...

What a great experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/07
Sea Trail has so much to offer that we plan to go back in the future so that we may enjoy all they have to offer. The Magnolias Fine Food & Spirits has been renovated and looks great. The food was superb. All the staff are friendly and willing to help. what a refreshing feeling to take vacation and not have to worry. We'll be back.

Lovely Sojourn to Sea Trail
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/07
We took advantage of the 70 degree (unusual)weather this Jan. 2007, to drive south to stay at Sea Trail. This time, we stayed at the Champion Villas. The villa was lovely. clean, queen size beds, & great view of Byrd course, par 3. I was amazed how good the greens and fairway conditions were for this time of year. Excellent service...Sunday buffet ...

21st year golf trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/06
We did very little driving to outstanding area courses and liked all three Sea Trail courses. The breakfast buffet was excellent as were the service personnel at the resturant. Rooms were in excellent shape, spacious, and in great locations. We, 24 guys, were all in agreement, (and anyone knows that getting 24 guys to agree upon anything is nearly impossible), and plan to return in the spring of 07.

Disappointed with this visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/06
My family has stayed several times at Sea Trail, and although in past years it has been wonderful, the management has unfortunately turned over the past year and it has gone downhill. Our room was dirty (pretzels and crumbs sticking out from the couch and mold in the inside of the toilet bowl), the usually tranquil pool was opened up to a day camp ...

Sea Trail's accommodations were great with beautiful views of their three outstanding golf courses. Great location in terms of the beach, and centrally located between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. You can bet we'll be back
