Poor representation of a usually good chain

Turned back the sheets to find crumbs and dirt between top and bottom sheet. Obviously bed had not been stripped after last occupant. Management was given opportunity to make adjustment - going so far as giving front desk my cell number so GM could call. Only contact from GM was made after I posted a negative comment on the Choice Hotels site.

I was really disappointed in the room. We found crumbs under the pillow of one of the beds. Management did not offer any compensation for the filth. Also the breakfast was lacking. I travel quite a lot. I will now be hesitant about comfort inns-before this, I quite happy with them.

The Bedding and Towels were clean. The room was in the process of some updating, should not have been rented. The bathroom had no privacy as there was an opening in the wall from one side of the tub to the rest of the room. The mirrors were covered with dirty film, the sofa bed and carpeting had stains on them. Wallpaper was damaged in several ...
