Worse than awfulDo you consider a funtioning bathroom to be a basic amenity? If the answer is yes, do not even consider staying here.
My mother was having open heart surgery at NYU Medical Center and my father wanted to be able to stay nearby and made a reservation at the Envoy Club. Great ExperienceMy boyfriend and I stayed in the Envoy Club's 2 bedroom suite during the last week of January, 2009. I was extremely satisfied with the Envoy Club. Fred helped us with check-in and was refreshingly courteous and helpful. Very goodI love this place. I have been there three times and the last time we rented a suit.It was great. It had space, comfort and a great wiew. We just loved it.We had our own Kitchen, two bathrooms. a large living room and two large bedrooms. Room with a doorThese are apartments with Doors on the bedrooms! Great for family stays, with full kitchen, etc. Only downside is that the service is limited since it's not really a Hotel, but an apartment buildingWas this review helpful? excellent!We stayed here for five nights in early November 2006. "we" means 2 adults and 2 teenagers (16yrs and 14yrs ) The 1 bedroom apt we had (609) was excellent, clean, spacious and more than adequate. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved It!Had a HUGE two room suite with kitchen and dining/living areas and great windows - more like a big NY apartment than a hotel. Would be great for extended stays. The price was reasonable but seems to have increased a lot in the past year. The hotel is well maintained and clean. Very dog friendly. Convenient location. Helpful staff.Was this review helpful? Great Bachlorette SuiteWe came down for a friends bachlorette weekend and had a great time. The suites were amazing. Top of the line and a great deal as well. Great view from the living room with the wall of windows.

confirm,confirm!!we made reservations two months in advance but when we arrived there was no two bedroom suites available.I had confirmed 3 days before leaving home.We were put in two separate rooms at a discounted price.We were very unhappy with this situation as we were 3 generations of women on a bonding trip. my advice is confirm,confirm and then be ready to change your plans.Was this review helpful?
